This week we are in the Gabane area, running from the Mountain View Bar /restaurant, on Sunday 16th August, starting at 10am.
Dave and Andrew will be your hares.
The on-after will be at the bar. Steaks will be provided and cooked there at a cost of P20. Please bring your own sides and niceties such as knives and forks if you so wish!
Directions .
Take the Kanye turn from the Western by-pass at the Rainbow School circle.
It is a dual carriageway through Mogaditshane, becoming single track after about 5K.
Continue along the road for about 4K to Choppies on the left.
Ignore the tar road signed to Gabane village and carry on for about 2.5K more to where the road meets the hillside.
You will see a dirt road on your left, with signs to Pelegano Industries, Thatched cottages to rent and maybe even a KH3 sign. If you come to a cattle grid you have gone past so turn around and try again.
Follow the dirt road past the sign to the Taylors, past the Pelegano industries wall and you will come to a Y junction, Take the right hand road, carry on and look for the sign to Mountain View on the right. Turn here and look for the cars.
