Sunday's run will be the now annual Game Park Hash and will be set by Suzy Q, Nico-teen and the Ripper  This is the Gaborone Game Park in town NOT MOKOLDI NATURE RESERVE!! It has been known for Hashers to go to the wrong destination.

Directions:

Driving north past the Gaborone Sun (on your right) turn right at the robots (traffic lights) straight at the next lights (be careful cos not always working these days) continue as the road goes around the bend to the left, past the entrance to the Blue Tree Golf place, then turn right at the sign to the Gaborone Game Reserve and continue to the entrance gate.

Driving south down Nelson Mandela turn left at the Bull n Bush flyover.  Continue straight through four sets of lights, follow this road around a left hand curve past the entrance to the Blue Tree Golf place, then turn right at the sign to the Gaborone Game Reserve and continue to the entrance gate.

Anyone coming from another direction - work it out for yourselves!!

There will be a bring and braai afterwards in the Game Park.

There is no need to take all the cars in and it is quite safe to park outside.  So double up with friends if you want to.

There is an entrance fee of P10.00 per car and P10.00 per adult.  Children under 8 are free.  Sure we don't have any children over 8 do we!!!!!

The Hash will pay the P5.00 picnic site charge for everyone.

Please try to bring the correct money with you to help out Hash Cash.

Do not fear, it is the Silver Surfers of the Hash who are setting it so it will be a casual Sunday morning stroll.

Fwd: Sunday's Hash

Hi All

I think all those who ran the Hill last week 'enjoyed' it despite the cold early start!

 

This week we are in Gabane.

 

 As it is Father's Day the hash will be providing food [left overs from Mother's Day--you fathers know your place in the scheme of things!]

 

The plan is to set a short, ending at the Wright's house [or the fridge as it is known at the moment]

The long will be live-set from the split as we go and will end up at the new garage in Kumakwane, from where we are hoping that some kind short runners will give us a lift back to Gabane.

The long will therefore be about 10K [including the short]

 

Directions to Gabane.

 

Take the Kanye turn from the western by-pass at the Rainbow School circle.

It is a dual carriageway through Mogaditshane, becoming single track after about 5 K. Continue along the road for about 4K to Choppies on the left. Ignore the tar road signed to Gabane village and carry on for about  2K more until just before the hill meets the road, where you will take a turn onto a dirt road on the left. This will be marked with a KH3 sign, along with many others to Pelegrano industries, Thatched cottages for rent etc.

About 300 metres along the dirt, you will see a KH3 sign and one for The Taylors on the right, turn up there and park by the gate.

There is a security man there who will watch the cars.

The on-after will be up the hill at our house but there is limited parking--with one spot reserved for the beer and one for the food!

Fwd: This week

Thanks to Robin, Karen and Lotte for last week's hash

 

This week we are using the King of the Hill race as our hash so hope all those over keen hasher have sorted their entries out!

 

 I will be there before the start to cheer you on, watch your bags and children and pat you on the back when you finish! Non runners are welcome to join me!

 

There is food and drink available to buy if anyone feels like it!

 

 

 

The following hash will be in Gabane. I imagine Jean would like any outstanding Hashmas payments by then and she will be handing out supplies to be cooked for our Hashmas dinner. Further details when I catch up with what's happening
