The hash for Sunday April 5th at 10 00am will be at Jock's.

The usual bring and braai to follow.

Directions to Jock's [from John so you know who to blame!]

Take the Western bypass, exit at the Molapo Crossing abortion [robots] going out to Molepolole.

 Go through Mogoditshane [car dealers souk], passing the BDF Sir Seretse Khama
barracks on the right [about 4K] 

Continue over the rise for about 2K more and look for Bokamoso Hospital on the right {it should be impossible to miss but hashers have managed to!] 

Go through the Bokamoso robots and then turn right at the next set of robots onto a dirt road.

Immediately on entering this road, turn left between the roadside stalls onto a dirt track that runs alongside the tarred road--the turning should be KH3 signed.

Continue along this track almost to the next junction with the tar, looking for
a hash sign directing you right onto a track which will bring you to Jock's house in about 100m.

As you go along the track by the main road, look for a green roof to your right. This is Jock's abode

Fwd: Sunday March 29th Hash and AGPUM

  Hi

Hash 1707 Sunday March 29th 10 00am start.

   This week we are in the scenic environs of the beautiful village of Gabane where Anne and John will be your hosts. and there will be the usual bring and braai to follow. You may want to bring your reading glasses!

  Directions to Gabane. 
Take the Kanye turn from the Western by-pass at the Rainbow School circle.It is a dual carriageway through Mogaditshane, becoming single track after about 5
K. 

Continue along the road for about 4K to Choppies on the left.
Ignore the tar road signed to Gabane village and carry on for about  2K more until just before the hill meets the road, where you will take a left turn onto a dirt road.
This will be marked with a KH3 sign, along with many others to Pelegrano industries, Thatched cottages for rent etc.

  About 300 metres along the dirt, you will see a KH3 sign and one for The Taylors on the right, turn up there and park by the gate.
There is a security man there who will watch the cars.
The on-after will be up the hill at our house but there is limited parking--with one
spot reserved for the beer

Fwd: Hash number 1707

This week is the Gaborone Marathon and connected races. Many hashers are entered in these and their runs will count as a hash.

However many of us, whilst intending to enter for the full marathon, unfortunately left it too late to register. For these people, we will be setting a live  hash from Riverwalk on Sunday March 22nd. 10 00am start

I suggest we meet at the bottom of the stairs near to the Embassy Indian Restaurant. For those that want to eat socially after the hash we will try to arrange with the Embassy to have some snack platters made up for us--cost to be shared.

If any of the marathon participants want to join us for lunch but not for the hash, can you let me know so I can include you in the numbers.

Fwd: Hash run on 15th March 2015

  The next hash run on 15th March 2015 will be at Mmonoko plot 132.

Directions :
                  Take the Molepolole road from Molapo Crossing, thro Mogodishane  past the Bokamoso Hospital and thro Metsimotlhabe and on to Gamodubu.

Go past the regional Landfill site sign posted in Blue

When you see Molepolole 10K sign you have 2 Kms to go. 

 

When you see the bridge and the Mmonoko Bus shelter, turn left then right.

 From the Bridge onwards it will be sign posted and there will be chalk marks on the  tracked surface.

Allow 40 minutes for the journey from the centre of Gaborone.

 

There will be a bring and braai after. Start at 10,00 am
