Thanks to Cort and Amanda for last week's hash 

A reminder that the June 8th Hash will be the King of the Hill race and that you need to enter yourself for that if you want to run. I will be there to keep an eye on any kids if both parents want to run! If you too feel to old and decrepit to attempt the 15K, you could turn up to support the runners as they arrive back!

This week's hash will be on Sunday at Karen and Robins,

Plot 21620 Mabote Road Phakalane at 10am. There will a Bring and Braai afterwards.            

 

Directions:

 

Turn right off Francistown Rd into Phakalane.

 

Over the railway track.

 

Take the 3^rd exit at  the circle towards Mowana Park shopping centre.

 

Turn left at Mowana Park into Pheto Sekgoma Rd, past the school entrance, round a sharp right hand bend.

 

Take the 3^rd Left into Mabote Road.

 

We are near the end on the right.

  Hi All

For your info--this is the hash on June 8th! Perhaps the less energetic of us could turn up to cheer the finish of the many over achievers we seem to have gathered! Food and drink seems to be available. If you want to take part in the run you will need to enter it yourself as your hare razor  is in the UK.

Hi All,

Thanks to Vladi and Melissa for last week's Hash and here are the details of Sunday's run.
 

Come join the Hash House Harriers for a Sunday run/walk/jaunt!

Sunday May 25th at 10 00am.

  We will meet at our house Plot 3072 just
inside the American Recreation center (President's Drive, near
Independence).  Give Cort a call when you get to the gate and he will
buzz you in: 74176201.

You will find the Hash Harrier signs at the intersection of
Independence and President's Drive.  Parking is ample on the street.

. We would love to host a bring-and-braai after the run.  See you then!

Here are the directions to my house for the May 18 Hash at 10 00am:

Plot 3124 A, Dikgafela Way. 

Driving from the south to north on Nelson Mandela, after you pass the Government Enclave,  take right on Khama Crescent then first left on Presidents. Once you reach Independence Ave. (stop sign) turn left and again take first left on Dikgafela Way. Our house is at the end of the street, white gate, ring A.

Driving from north to south on Nelson Mandela (Old Lobatse/ Airport st.), after you pass through the Seboni/Nyerere intersection, take the first left on Independence Ave. Then take the third right onto Dikgafela Way. We are at the end.

The Mother's Day Run on Sunday  May 11th--10 00am start hared by Jean and Sue

Directions

Driving north past the Gaborone Sun turn right at the robots/traffic lights, through a second set of lights, around the bend past the Game Reserve to the circle/roundabout. Turn right at the circle, then first left up past Broadhurst School then just past the school there is a road to the left just as the road curves to the right and Hash is at Plot 8483.  There is not a lot of parking space but I'm sure the neighbours won't mind you parking outside their door otherwise you will have to leave your car in George's Bar car park and it might get blocked in by those at the church! not at the bar.

Hash will be providing food and some of the drink, but please bring your tables and chairs, cutlery etc. There will be a charge of 1 beer ticket for the food, in other words P10.00 for the meal.

Fwd: May 4th Hash

Hello again,

 

Many thanks to Rob, Lucy, Lottie and Jack for last weeks hash and to Jean for the St Georges Day quiz and the 'delicious' chilli sherry drinks!

 

This week we are bush bashing from Iketlo Lodge, Kumakwane with Mary Poppins and Cat Lady as hares.

 

You need to take the Kanye Road from the Rainbow School circle on the Western Bypass.

 

The dual carriage way becomes a single track, continues past the Gabane turn at Choppies on your left, past the turn to our place, over the cattle grid, over the dry river bed and past yet another new filling station under construction on the left.

 

About a further couple of hundred or so metres on your left, you will see Iketlo Lodge. Turn into the lodge and park.

 

We will circle down inside the lodge so there will be the lodge bar for drinks and a P50 full English breakfast for those who want to stay on after.
