Fwd: Hare?

Sunday Hash 2 June at 10.00 am at Gaborone Bowling Club in the Village.

We have been there before so most Hashers know where to go. The rest of you, take Maratadiba Road from News Cafe (on the Gabs Sun road) into the Village, dead straight until you come to the traffic lights at the crossing with Sashe South Road. You will see a Total fuel station and the Village Club with Gym Active (now Jack's Gym) at this crossing. (You can also take Sashe South Road from Riverwalk and arrive at the same crossing).

Once at this crossing, continue on Maratadiba Road towards Tlokweng and turn first road left. If you pass a bridge you have gone too far. After the left turn you will see the Botanical Garden on your right and Gabs Club tennis courts on your left. Continue straight on bumpy gravel road, pass the Gabs Club main entrance and the bowling lawns and find a hopefully open gate on your left. Park inside the gate

Walk out on the football field, turn left and use small gate to enter the Bowls Club.

We will use their bar and braai facilities. There are braai stands and some tables and chairs but bring some extra chairs and all things needed for the braai. Your Hare will supply the charcoal.

Drinks are pre-paid and the bar lady will strike off your drink from the pre-paid amount. To limit the loss for our Hash Cash, please put a Hash ticket in the red Hash Box for every drink you take.

If lost, call Cow Herd 71259782.

Welcome!

ANNUAL HASHMAS

Winter is approaching so it's time to think about Hashmas.

It will be early this year in the hopes that Little Boy Blue, the Pusher
and family can make one more dinner before heading back to Sweden. [Last
chance to sing the famous 'Ping Pong Ball!]

Date June 8th

Place Iketlo Lodge in Kumakwane

Dinner will cost around P125

Breakfast after the Liver Run will cost P60

There are chalets available for those who want to stay and avoid travelling
the Highway of Death, especially after a few beers! There are 12 double
bedded chalets and 18 twin bed chalets.

They will cost P 150 per person per night.

As always there will be an afternoon hash followed by dinner on Saturday
and a liver run on Sunday morning.

Dress code is Xmas red, gold and green, the tackier the better and there
will be a chance to let your creative juices flow by decorating your table
in a similar vein.

Any volunteers to provide entertainment will be gratefully received'

Please sign the booking sheet at the next hash or contact
acwright_uk@yahoo.co.uk to book your place.

Payment by June 2nd please

Fwd: FW: next hash

Hash with a difference, Sunday 19 May, please note : at 10h30

Your hosts will be Little Boy Blue and the Pusher, details are:

Welcome to Garage Sale Hash in Broadhurst/Tsholofelo!

The hash can't start until 10:30 as the Pusher is pushing herself up Kgale Hill to defend her title as Veteran Queen of the Hill in the early morning!

In the meantime for routine trained hashers turning up at 10:00 we can offer a VIP first look of the garage sale goods!

We will not be able to host a bring and braii "on after" as we have too much to deal with regarding all our stuff and the braii equipment might be sold and gone by then….but we can offer some light snacks to your hash drinks at the flee-market place (our living room and our garage)!

Directions:

From Gabs Sun going north towards BBS Mall and the Gaborone Private Hospital (GPH), you pass GPH and at the traffic lights at the Shell station you go right keeping BBS Mall on you right. You arrive a round-about in which you keep straight ahead, (but it might be best following the circle around) and then take first road to the left (Sedie way) and then at T-junction go right and then first right after just 100 m into Tutume Rd. Go Tutume rd until it ends and you come to a big green gate with an attached name of "Legerwa Place". Park outside the gate if you don't have special needs with kids or having boxes of hash brew. We are number 14 in this compound of 20 town houses. (so far no new tenants here after 1 June as far as we understand).

Fwd: Mother's Day Hash, Sunday 12 May

Hash 12 May 2013

This Sunday's MOTHERS' DAY HASH will be from Plot 8483, Broadhurst home of the Ripper and assisted by Suzy Q

For those of you who know Gabs it is behind George's Bar and opposite Broadhurst School.

For the rest of you - Travelling north on Nelson Mandela right at the robots/lights at the Breweries, straight at the next robots, straight at the next circle, first left and continue past Broadhurst School until the road curves to the right, you take the road to the left at that point.

Travelling south on Nelson Mandela you turn left at the Breweries then follow above instructions.

Coming from Gabs West direction - come over the Bull n Bush flyover, straight at the lights, straight at the next lights at No Mathata continue past the Game Park to the circle, right at the circle then first left then as above.

There isn't a great deal of parking outside my house so some latecomers may have to park at George's Bar.  There is a security guard there guarding the cars at the church.

IT IS MOST IMPORTANT THAT HASHERS ARE THERE ON TIME EVEN EARLY, ALL WILL BE REVEALED ON THE DAY

There will be an On-On afterwards with food and drinks supplied by the Hash but please bring tables, chairs, and the usual eating utensils.  There is pudding so you may want to bring a second plate.

If there are foolish hashers like Mary Poppins a couple of weeks ago, you are welcome to bring your swim things!

The Ripper

PS. Male Hashers please use this notice as a reminder of what day it is!!!

Fwd: Hash 1610, Sunday 5th May at 10h00

Sunday 5th May Run 1610

Hi Hashers

Your Hares this week will be Brad and Angelina .

Angelina says:

Directions are simple:

- From the Western Bypass , turn onto airport road towards airport
- take second turn right
- take 5th turn left

Or just follow the K3H signs when on airport road.

We will not be on anyone's plot, and Hares have other commitments for the afternoon, so no braai on-after. I suggest that the really hungry (and thirsty) Hashers make a plan to have a meal at Airport Junction or Cattle Baron in Block 8.

There will be a beer-stop hopefully, so come thirsty!
