The hash for Sunday August 31st--10 00am start as usual.

 

Starts at Anne-Francoise and Andy's house – in The Village.  There will be a bring and braai afterwards

 

·         From Tlokweng Road take the road into the Village from the Shell/Superspar (the far end of Riverwalk Mall) traffic lights.  Follow that road straight, over speed humps and continue to the crossroads. Cross over, go round the sharp bend right and look for the entrance to the housing complex on the left (parking outside). 

·         From Samora Machel Road take the left turn at the Mondior/News Café traffic lights.  Follow that road until you get to a crossroads (to the left it is signposted Hana Lodge) and take the  left  turn.  Go round the sharp right bend and look for entrance on the left (parking outside).

Fwd: Directions for Sunday's Hash

The hash for Sunday August 24th--10 00am start as usual.

Starts at Kathy's house – Plot 4981, Unit 1, The Village.  There will be a bring and braai afterwards and for the very brave the swimming pool will be available.

 

·         From Tlokweng Road take the road into the Village from the Shell/Superspar (the far end of Riverwalk Mall) traffic lights.  Follow that road straight, over a speed hump and take the 3^rd turning of the right.  The complex is the second gate of the left – top bell.

·         From Samora Machel Road take the left turn at the Mondior/News Café traffic lights.  Follow that road until you get to a crossroads (to the left it is signposted Hana Lodge) and take the right turn.  Take the first left and the complex is the second gate on the left – top bell.

If you haven't yet signed up for the migration, you are very welcome to do so but all the chalet accommodation is now booked so there is only space for campers at P50 pp/pn.

 

Costs for dinner etc will be announced once it has been worked out!

 

We will be cooking the dinner for Saturday night. As usual. we will be hoping for some folk to bring starters.

 

The current plan is to try and book a Manpoer distillery trip followed by a late breakfast there on Sunday morning  rather than cook our own. I'll let you know as soon as any arrangements are in place.

 

 

Saturday lunch will be at a suitable stop on route where we will all congregate but you will provide your own.

 

Some of us plan to make a weekend of it and arrive on Friday night. If you would like to join us please let us know. Again you will bring your own food but a braai fire will be lit and the chalets have kitchens.

 

There will be no hash beer so bring your own booze/ cool drinks/ water.

 

The accommodation list will be on the board for the next few hashes and teams will be arranged shortly, as will the route and the legs for each team

Fwd: New Hash etc

Hi everyone,

As you may remember, the next hash is going to be part of the trail run on Saturday morning from the rugby club. The race starts at 7 30am but you will need to get there earlier to pick up your number. Last chance to enter is tomorrow 6th August at Cyclebase, by the Game City circle
5,10,and 21K runs on offer!

There is food and a beer tent on site [after 9 00am, I think] or we could move to somewhere in Game city for breakfast if anyone wants to.

 

There is still no offer to set for the 17th. We haven't missed one hash since KHHH started over 30 years ago so any ideas will be very welcome, please!

 

Jean has put the deposit down for the Ostrich Migration, but there will be room for more, Camping or chalet [perhaps sleeping on the floor] accommodation available so please consider joining us for this great event. All ages can take part [even I manage to shuffle for a few metres!] and the poor old ostrich needs our help!
