We had a very convivial hash last night with several returnees and a lot of chat. If fact it was so convivial that when Steve drove past the golf club this morning, there was still a hash sign outside. He couldn't stop but when Jean went to pick it up later, it had gone! Did the party go on all night? Has someone got the missing sign or will it turn up as part of someone's fence at sometime?
The next hash will be the Moon Walk on Saturday evening. If you have not signed up but would like to join us for what promises to be another convivial hash, please let Jean or myself know asap. We can probably sort tenting for those without.
If you are coming you should bring a torch for the walk and food for the on-on. There will be a braai and a fire, and some of us will have camping gas stoves, but you will need all cutlery and crockery for your own use. [Dress code is scary!]
Those camping will need to bring all that stuff and should arrive by about 5 00pm in order to be set up before dark. If not camping you should arrive by 6 30 [hash time] and we will walk some time after that.
Breakfast will be your own food but there will be a skottle and some frying pans available if you need them.
Directions will follow immediately as I am too computer illiterate to move info from another letter to here.
There is a trail run from Game city on Saturday morning at 7 00 am. I sent out details on a previous notice but get in touch if you need them. You can enter at Cyclebase and the closing date is 06/11/2014. There are a few of us doing the 10K and I have entered the 5K and would welcome company! Speak nicely to me and it may count as a hash run!
